في خطوة نوعية لتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية، شهد البرلمان البرتغالي لقاءً بالغ الأهمية بين الأمين العام للحزب المغربي الحر ونائب رئيس فريق البرلمان لحزب “Chega” البرتغالي السيد خورخي غالفياش، الذي يمثل أكبر أحزاب المعارضة البرتغالية ويضم خمسين برلمانياً. تناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون بين المغرب والبرتغال في مختلف المجالات، وتبادل وجهات النظر حول القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وعلى رأسها دعم قضية الصحراء المغربية.
وأعرب الجانبان عن تطلعهما إلى تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين، خاصة في ظل ما يجمعهما من مصالح مشتركة وتاريخ طويل من التعاون، كما أكد السيد خورخي غالفياش على أهمية دعم الحوار البنّاء وتعزيز التعاون السياسي بين المؤسسات البرلمانية في البلدين.
يأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار جهود الحزب المغربي الحر لتعزيز حضور القضية الوطنية المغربية على الساحة الدولية، واستثمار كل الفرص لبناء شراكات استراتيجية تخدم مصالح المغرب.
